It requires only 47 seconds to arrive at the observatory. On the journey up, you’ll view a panoramic vista of Lower Manhattan. An indicator displays the passage of time. As you rise to ground-level, you’ll notice the marshes that surrounded the region circa 1500.
Decades pass rapidly as your altitude increases. The landscape transforms from single-story structures to the addition of skyscrapers. At the end, the World Trade Center builds in around you.
When exiting the attraction, you’re treated to a dazzling view of Freedom Tower’s exterior.
