Even you can make delicious hummus

Do you have three minutes to spare? Then you have enough time to learn how to make your own delicious hummus at home. For this recipe we turned to London-based Decliously Ella who has been helping everyone to bring out amazing flavor in their cooking since 2014.

Ingredients for the best hummus ever

  • Two 400g tins of chickpeas (or 440g of drained chickpeas if you’re soaking and boiling your chickpeas)
  • 10 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 lemons – choose ones that are extra juicy
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of tahini
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to process these ingredients to make the tasty happen

Combine your fresh lemon juice and peeled garlic in a food processor. Next, blend these together until smooth. Add your spices and seasoning, do a final mix, and you should be set. Keep your hummus in the refrigerator and it should stay fresh for about a week.
