Ingredients for the best hummus ever
- Two 400g tins of chickpeas (or 440g of drained chickpeas if you’re soaking and boiling your chickpeas)
- 10 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of water
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 lemons – choose ones that are extra juicy
- 2 heaped tablespoons of tahini
- 2 teaspoons of cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
How to process these ingredients to make the tasty happen
Combine your fresh lemon juice and peeled garlic in a food processor. Next, blend these together until smooth. Add your spices and seasoning, do a final mix, and you should be set. Keep your hummus in the refrigerator and it should stay fresh for about a week.
