The early days of the modern internet were an innocent time. Simple things amused us—like a cute animation with a catchy melody. If you were to add a dark twist or surprising lyric, you might just have a viral hit on your hands.
Weebl’s Stuff was a purveyor of such fine wares. On October 12, 2009, they and introduced the world to ShutUpWomanGetOnMyHorse.com. Visitors found a single page there. An infinite looping cartoon would load which featured the song Amazing Horse. The tune was catchy and included lightly suggestive and naughty words. It was a huge success and generated views in the millions.
Sadly, as is commonplace with internet pop culture, the website is no longer available and the Adobe Flash software used to create the experience is now defunct. However, you can still take in the sights and sounds of Amazing Horse thanks to Weebl’s Stuff who archived the viral hit and published it to YouTube for all to enjoy.
